Deepen your connection to self and spirit. Expand your yoga practice with this phenomenal three part workshop.

Yogic Philosophy
History, Philosophy, Scriptures and Theory behind the sacred practice of yoga. Infuse your yoga practice with cognitive philosophical understanding and connection to the sutras, the golden thread of this ancient lineage.

Pranayama
Pranayama-the art and science of the yogic breath. Increase your ability to contain, manage and enhance prana-the primal, vital energy of life.

Meditation
Learn the basics through a sampling of meditation techniques. The guidance of the instructor and presence of the group will enable you to launch, deepen and expand your meditation practice. Appropriate for all experience levels.


Healing Journey Thru the Chakras
Chakras are spiraling energy centers, doorways between spirit, mind and body. These vortices contain our energetic circuitry, and when in balance offer us physical and emotional healing. With focus on the 7 primary chakra centers and their relationship to the elements of nature, our healing journey will include:

History and philosophy of Chakra Theory
Asana (yoga postures)
Chanting (Bija mantras)
Guided visualization and Color Therapy
Clearing of energetic and emotional blockages
Integration and Revitalization


Acu-Yoga: Balanced Energy Flow
Acu-Yoga blends two traditional systems of preventative health care – Acupressure and Yoga. The combination of yoga postures and self-stimulation of acupressure points enhances the flow of vital energy through the meridians. This nourishes and balances the internal organs and all the systems of the body. We will cover the basics of meridian theory and learn to apply this knowledge to our yoga practice. Learn specific stretches for moving blocked energy - the key to radiant health, peace and harmony.


Restorative Yoga
Relax and Renew! Find deep levels of stress relief and renewal of energy with restorative yoga. We will practice a set of supported postures, gentle stretches, breathing, and meditation. Individual special needs addressed. Take home healing poses you can do anytime. A gentle, rejuvenating experience timed to help you flow through the summer with Grace.

Meditation & Pranayama  with Julie D Bonnici
A time for stillness and contemplation. Learn the powerful yoga techniques of pranayama (yogic breathing) and meditation.


The Goddess and The Chakras
Embrace the faces of the goddess and her relationship to the tantric chakra system. Explore the sacred divine feminine and her affects on your energy body. Expand into and embrace your connection with earth and nature through: asana (yoga postures), sacred geometry and the elements, meditation and guided visualizations, expressive and ceremonial movements, color therapy, and chanting.


Master Inversions with Anusara Yoga

To turn your world upside down takes a heart full of courage and a body infused with intelligence. Develop confidence and strength for safe practice of inverted postures.  If you are already comfortable with inversions we will take you to the next level.  Appropriate also for the new or hesitant, but playful & curious student as preparatory postures will be offered.  Each student receives guidance and alignment refinement.

Spring Cleaning
Follow the rhythmic wisdom of the seasons with inner spring-cleaning. What limiting patterns do you want to clear out in your environment and in yourself? What do you wish to see happen this year? Plant the seeds of your visions and healthy lifestyle plan. After the inward snows of winter melt with the cleansing and detoxifying rains of spring we create space within our minds, bodies and hearts for new growth. We will begin with yoga, meditation, and nurturing self-care practices. We move into the kitchen for seasonal whole foods nutrition and cooking coaching, and preparation of herbal teas & tonics. We culminate by eating our healthy spring meal creations, to enhance our vibration of change and growth.


Honoring the Moon Cycle: Yoga for Menstruation
Learn yogini techniques and secrets for balance and harmony in your monthly cycles. We as women have innate healing abilities. Turn these talents inward with a variety yogic self care practices to nurture and to balance your cycle.


Anusara Yoga Therapeutics           with Julie D Bonnici
Tailor your yoga practice to work for your individual needs, injuries and chronic conditions using the healing therapeutic principles of Anusara Yoga. Perfect for students working to use yoga as a tool to regain maximum health and pain relief from injuries . These clinics will be individually tailored, hands on application of yoga therapy principles to bring about optimal alignment and health.

Family Yoga with Jen Faldetta
Family Yoga is for children over four and the grown ups who love them. Play and explore in this nurturing and uplifting class. Focused breathing, playful asanas and creative meditation combine to bring the family together.
 

Yoga for Birth with Jen Faldetta
A workshop for expecting couples. Birth is a sacred right of passage, to be honored and enjoyed. With a little humor and an open heart, come together to relate physically and emotionally. We'll meditate, stretch, try laboring positions, discuss some techniques to help you through an optimal birth day.


Back Care Clinic    with Julie D Bonnici
Problems or pain in your back? You are not alone!  Yoga can help!  Learn to safely strengthen your back and abdominal core with a yoga series designed to release tightness in hips, low back, and entire spine.  For students with acute symptoms or injury please contact instructor.


Partner Yoga      with Julie D Bonnici
Share yoga with a loved on, family member or friend. Cultivate balance, flexibility, communication and connection. We will use the support of another to go even deeper into the self . A fun yoga practice with partner assists and massage. Appropriate for all levels, including beginners.


Elemental Flow - An Immersion in Anusara Yoga                                                                                     with Julie D Bonnici

Open to students of All Levels to systematically cover the universal principles of alignment, the theory, philosophy and underlying tantric vision of Anusara Yoga. A perfect way for yoga instructors of other traditions to learn the science and graceful flow of Anusara Yoga. A building block for aspiring instructors, and would satisfy 15 hours towards Anusara Teacher Trainings.
