Living
in Harmony with the Seasons:
Ayurveda for the Fall
with Laura Hudson
Sunday September 26
12:00 -4:00pm, $60
Advanced Registration Required
Ayurveda, science of health and well-being, recommends working
with the natural shifts that occur
as the seasons change. Fall is a time for clearing out the heat
from the summer, reducing personal symptoms of wind, dryness and
erratic behavior, and preparing for the dry, cold season to
come.
We will cover the foods that support us in the fall and the
winter as well as routines for staying moisturized and illness
free through the winter. You will learn about your individual
constitutional tendencies as well as seasonal tendencies. We
will explore daily routines and habits that support
the release of energetic imbalances and strengthen the life
force.
Come prepared for teaching, discussion, and movement as we will
be exploring a yoga practice ideal for the winter season. Each
participant will leave with a personal plan for daily practice
to bring home and integrate into their life.

The Fire of Yoga:
The Path of Tantric Alchemy
Paul Muller-Ortega
October 2 & 3
Everything is made of Light! This
profound Tantric mystical teaching invites us into
sacred transformative practice and will be our theme
for this powerful intensive of deepening wisdom and
soul-awakening. We will reconsider the depth of our
commitment to the great journey of Yoga, stabilize
and root ourselves in deep practices, and open to
living and breathing Tantra in all aspects of our
lives.
The ancient Shaiva teachings tell
us that everything is made of the light
of Consciousness. Therefore, the ultimate task of
the Tantric yogin is to “melt” the objective
material shapes of the world and of his own
identity, step by step, until they reveal the
blissfulness and ecstasy that lie concealed in the
very fabric of all things. To melt the world is
indeed to release the nectar of the ecstasy of
consciousness, and to drink the beverage of
immortality, liberation, and ultimate wisdom. How
can we perform such a mystical melting or
“oblation”? We will consider and practice the
teachings of Tantric Yogic Shaivism as they lead us
into the methods of making offerings into the very
fire-pit of the Heart.
In his talks, Paul will be leading
students into a deep consideration of Sadhana
issues. These illuminative and very practical
"Sadhana Satsang" sessions will explore in depth
specific aspects of the theory of the practice of
Tantric Sadhana, and their specific applicability to
each participant's current path of practice. In
addition, Paul will be guiding students in very
potent experiences of the Fire Cycle of practices of
the Shaivite Tantric meditation tradition.
