Marie found yoga in 2000 and in that class had the first experience of friendship between her body and mind. After struggling with depression and anxiety for many years she began a dedicated practice in 2006 and has been hooked ever since. She says, “Yoga gave me the space to show up for myself no matter how I was feeling or what I was going through off the mat. I am now able to approach challenges with more ease, love, acceptance, and breath.”
She started teaching in 2015 and absolutely loves sharing the gifts of yoga with others! Her classes are mindful, playful, and fun and weave together a rich connection with the natural world, yogic principles, and awareness of the body. She has taught a variety of yoga, meditation, wellness, and environmental workshops including, Conscious Communication, Herbalism, Permaculture, and more.
When she’s off the mat you’ll find her playing with her furry lil rescue pup, traveling, exploring nature, playing music, or one of a kind fiber art pieces.
