In 2009 Mary began to study and bring the practice Ayurveda into her life to support health, balance and continued growth. Ayurveda is the science of life, wellness, the sister science of Yoga. After 2 years of learning in Living Ayurveda with Cate Stillman, Mary decided on more formal course of study so that she could share all the practices that were helping and healing in her life. In 2011 she completed the Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist Training at Himalayan Institute with Kathryn Templeton. She remains a student of Ayurveda with Cate Stillman and meditation with Ellen Tadd.
Mary strives to refine her understanding of her own inner nature through personal and classroom asana and meditation practice and ongoing learning programs. Mary consciously brings her humor, love of nature, joy in yoga and continuing drive to promote health, learning and spiritual growth to life in her yoga, meditation classes on the mat and in wellness workshops off the mat. |
