Mary Sullivan
worked as a chemist and engineer for
20 years. When the company she had worked at was sold, Mary had to
face and weather big changes. She really wanted to do that in a
healthy way with grace, staying true to herself. A friend suggested
yoga as a way to help prepare for this change.
Mary began regular yoga
practice in 2000 studying with Julie Dhara Roberts and Jennifer
Faldetta. By 2001 she had found her path for spiritual growth in
the Anusara Community. Mary started teaching in 2005 and completed
her RYT 200 training in 2006 with Deb Neubauer, Certified Anusara
Teacher.
Mary continues to refine her understanding of her own inner nature
through personal and classroom asana and meditation practice. Mary
consciously brings her humor, love of nature, joy in yoga and
continuing spiritual quest to life in her Anusara Inspired classes.
Mary is trained
in Meridian Yoga and is currently enrolled in a 500 Hour Advanced
Teacher Training at Golden Heart Yoga in Annapolis Maryland. |
